It is a great honour to welcome you once again to the Export Furniture Exhibitions (EFE), one of the most anticipated international furniture shows in its 18th year, a strong testament to the Malaysian Furniture Council, EFE Expo Sdn Bhd and industry members’ strong commitment and collective effort in bringing the furniture market to fore.

Held annually at the tactically located Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), it is presented by the Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC) and organised by EFE Expo Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of MFC; this arrangement guarantees that the event is curated by industry professionals who hold deep insights into the market’s everchanging needs and trends.

Catering to an assortment of buyer requirements and preferences, the exhibition displays a comprehensive array of cutting-edge products, including bedroom, living room, dining, kitchen, office and outdoor furniture, as well as furniture fittings and accessories. Speaking of diversity, EFE draws in exhibitors and buyers from over 140 countries, with the 2025 edition expected to feature more than 260 exhibitors from Malaysia, China and other ASEAN countries.

Before wrapping it up, EFE is deeply appreciative of all the support from the furniture industry including various government agencies, trade associations and media. On behalf of the Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC), I would like to thank all our valued exhibitors for your participation, and I would like to extend a warm welcome to all international buyers and visitors to Malaysia and the Export Furniture Exhibition (EFE) 2025.

Since being incepted in 2005, this Export Furniture Exhibition (EFE) remains the flagship event for the Malaysian Furniture Council (MFC) as its main agenda is to provide affordable and efficient services to our members seeking to sell their products to overseas buyers.

MFC is the sole national association representing the furniture industry in Malaysia. Over the years, we have collaborated closely with ministries and government agencies such as: the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities, Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, MATRADE, MIDA, MTIB as well as MTC to promote the growth of the furniture industry.

In the year 2025, we are going to facing a lot of new challenges. The geopolitical environment plays a significant role in shaping Malaysia’s furniture industry, given to its close ties to international trade, raw material supply, labor dynamics, and market demand. To stay competitive, Malaysia’s furniture industry must highly be attuned to geopolitical developments. While trade agreements and sustainable practices can strengthen Malaysian’s global standing, challenges such as regional competition and potential trade disruptions must be strategically managed. Therefore, staying agile and adaptive to these geopolitical shifts is crucial for the Malaysia furniture industry’s long-term success.

Nevertheless, we remain optimistic and confident that Malaysian furniture possess a solid foundation to bounce back from this challenge.
